The Wedding: Two days before we left Australia we got married... it was an awesome night and the best night of our lives... much fun was had which is more than we could have asked for! A huge thanks to Tim, Sue, Deborah and Jim for making it all happen! Thanks to everyone who helped us on our way over seas as well, we were very over whelmed... and of course thanks to Zoe and I... just because!
The Plane Ride: 14 hours non stop baby! Wow... did i mention baby... we had a two year old in front of us and the little bastard screamed and cried for a mean average of 13 hours! Damn... if we ever had thoughts of having kids they have been put back a few years... that Mum on the plane was public enemy number one. Having said that the plane trip was pretty good. The staff were really friendly, we got free movies and music all the way... and.... and the food was awesome. The best part was the fact that the guy sitting next to me got moved and Zobo and i got to share three seats together! That = heaven on a 14 hour flight! Once we got to the airport getting our Visa's was so easy! It all took about 10 minutes tops for both of us to get through, grabbed our bags and we were out of there!
Getting to the hostel: It was a little confusing but thanks to the bus drivers we practically got there for free! Woot woot! We love Canadians! It was funny when we got off of the bus to get to the Hostel the driver said... take care around this area sometimes its not nice hey! Thanks we like you too mate! So far we have had no problems... he musn't like Asians because we have to walk through China town to get there... racist! Hahaha! Oh man and speaking of China town... wowser did you know how much dried food there is there... dried fish, squid, shrimp, mussels, crab, banana even the lady selling the stuff was dried up and old! On the first night there i set the fire alarm off because i left the kettle on for too long... whoops! It also went off another two times from some other people cooking... so we had some disrupted sleep!
Vancouver: We have stumbled around the last couple of days trying to find stuff, we found a few underground malls.... huge and underground because it helps keep them warm! Today we found a street called 'Robson Street'! Awesome place, Zoe found some wicked boots to keep her toes warm and i found a really nice jacket! Hopefully they stand the test of time and the cold weather! We also got our social security numbers today which is basically like a tax file number, so we are trying to get all that kind of stuff sorted out... we promise to get phones, that way we can speak to you soon! Yesterday we went up Grouse mountain which is the mountain you can see in the background of Vanvouver photos! Unreal place... not snowing in Vancouver, 20 minutes later you are up a Mountain and it is -3 degrees and a ski field! It was so much fun. It was our first day in the snow together and we had a blast! We are going back this weekend with our Aussie friends Kiah and Kasia who also live in Vancouver!
Overall, we love this place it is really nice and tomorrow we are going to check out the sea wall which is apparently a bloody awesome walk! We will write a new blog soon. Most likely on the road in America, we head there on Monday! Thanks for reading and write a message if you can! There are some photo's below too! Take care M and Z xo

Hi Zoe and Simon, Great to see see that you made it up the mountain isn't it wonderful? What about those great wood carvings dotted around the ski fields. The cold really gets to you going up the mountain there is a big difference from Vancouver to Grouse Mountain but you're lucky it was -21C when we were there. Have fun on your magical mystery tour through America. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
